What is it all about?

KRAINA Sandbox is a creative environment, that helps Belarusian media professionals and researchers with launching new products. The aim of these projects is to promote interesting yet unknown by the wide audience knowledge in the field of Belarusian culture, and raise discussions about the future of our country.

Why do we think it is important?

We believe that the Belarusian media space needs more quality attractive content that answers the questions:

• what are the building blocks that create our culture, identity?
• how exactly can the future of our country look like?
• what does it look like to livе in a country with the best institutions?
• how can we learn from the experience of other countries in overcoming social challenges?
• how other countries built their strong democratic society, civic society and powerful institutions and that support them?
• What mistakes were made during other countries transformation that Belarus can avoid in the future?

We are convinced that bringing up the discussion on these topics is vital for the long term future of our country.

We often hear from the research community that there is no platform for them to spread the products of their researches to the wide audience, so bridging this gap is among our priorities.

Why Sandbox?

We realize that the mission described above is very challenging and it cannot be achieved by only implementing a single project. To saturate the media space significantly new projects should be launched constantly. It can be achieved by experimenting with new formats, bringing new approaches from the worlds best media and covering new topics.

We would like to put together the efforts of the professionals with multiple backgrounds to apply their skills and knowledge to building an environment that helps converting the talents ideas into the real projects.
